MY CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION SCRIPT WAS PICKED

CCSI III BACKGROUND1

Finally, the CCSI Little Production Studio had decided to use my script for their newest production scheduled to be released on 10 & 11 May 2008. Many of you may not know what CCSI stands for. CCSI means Cat/Canine Crime Scene Investigation. You did not read wrongly. It is all about furry animals dressed up in human forms and solving crime scenes cases. This is going to be yet another great production ever produced since the studio’s last two successful productions from last year onwards.

When would be the most appropriate time than to release it prior to Mothers’ Day which will fall on 11 May 2008. The latest production would be called CCSI III – The Missing Mummy Caper, written by yours truly from Malaysia, directed by Opus & Roscoe from Italy, produced by Sassy & her Little Productions Team from USA, and marketed by Momo from Australia. This production will feature many talented furry animals such as cats, dogs and bunny throughout the blogosphere.

Do not miss the opportunity to spend some value time with your mother this weekend while enjoying the story line of the case. Please make a mark on your calendar now. It is going to be aired for two consecutive days starting from 10 May 2008 at Sassy’s site.

DEFENCELESS VICTIMS OF ZONING IN BRAZIL, INDIANA, USA

DEFENCELESS

Sometimes I wondered if so called ordinances in some countries ought to be reconsidered for further amendments. Just look at the outcry of people across the world on the recent case of Rothrocks vs the US Indiana Government. The couples were asked relocated their family business of 20 years just because the government had decided to zone the district of Brazil, Indiana, USA as “a residential and historical zone”. On top of that, the couples had also received a kennel license from the government until August this year for helping to rescue, spay, neuter and vaccinate stray and feral cats at their expenses.

The question remained as a question without any proper explanations. Why would it take the government such a long time to close down a business which had become the livelihood of the couples for 20 years? How are they going to survive after this as relocation means giving up the family home as well as start anew their business which will take months or years to pick up again?

The second question would be as follows. If the property has been labeled as “a residential and historical zone”, why in the first place approved the license and then decided to revoke it, leaving the couples in dilemma as how to relocate all their 31 rescued pets to families who are willing to care for them? If not, they will be fined, adding to their worries of how to survive for the next couple of months.

Now who is at fault? The Rothrocks or the Indiana Government? I was even shocked to read on the reply by Michele Altman, Planning & Zoning Dept, Brazil, Indiana, USA to a concerned citizen on the welfare of the Rothrocks.

“The Rothrock's have not been fined, even though I was within my legal rights to fine them $2,500.00 for the first day and $7,500.00 for every day thereafter until the violation no longer occurred.”

“I cannot speak for previous administrations as to why they failed to do their jobs. I can only speak for myself. I have recently shut down several other businesses that were operating illegally, so I have not singled out the Rothrocks. I will do my job.”

Isn’t it amazing for a person to deny the facts that the ordinance has a flaw and blamed it to the previous administration for not doing their job? Even the Alley Cat Allies, who assisted cities all over the country with stray cat problems, has quoted this:

“Across the country, citizens are being punished for caring for stray and feral cats. These caregivers did not create the colonies of cats -- and they are serving their communities by humanely caring for them. But according to antiquated animal control laws and uninformed community leaders, each of these Good Samaritans deserves to be punished. We must change outdated animal control laws, policies and practices. We must stop caregivers from being punished for doing the right thing. ”

The news had even gone to the media with The Brazil Times and WTHI reporting on it. Surprisingly, all links for the Tammy Rothrock case went missing in the WTHI website. I wondered if someone asked them to keep their mouth shut on this case. It’s a mystery.

PHOTO HUNTERS: METAL

photohunters

This week’s theme is on METAL.
This used to be a METAL netting to keep
unwanted insects out from the house.
Unfortunately, my cat Jonathan bit and tore
the METAL netting to escape for his sex expedition.
Tom cat! What a desperado!

CATS ON TUESDAY – BABIES' BATH DAY

CATSTUESDAYLOGO144

The link above is where cat lovers all over the world gathered and share their updates on their pets on every Tuesday.
Feel free to drop in if you are a cat lover.

This is the first time the triplets Janice, Jayson and Justin are having their grand bath since their birth 47 days ago and all of them do not look so happy. Jayson kept purring that he is clean. Justin looked as if he was about to faint. Janice being the eldest of them all began to cry pathetically.

BATH01

After half an hour of pestering them to move to the bathroom, the trio still insisted that they are absolutely clean but are they? I can still see some milk stains on all their faces. Unfortunately, I have to carry all of them into the bathroom for a nice warm bath with special medicated kitten shampoo.

BATH02

After wiping and blowing them dry, the triplets were in a real playful mood. Justin began to check on everybody to make sure that they are clean from head to paws. Jayson was the unlucky one to have one spot left on his ear that needed immediate cleaning. Janice came in and dragged Jayson’s leg to get him in for a second bath…. Haha!
In fact, all of them had a wonderful bath. The next time, I shall be sourcing for a rubber “mousey” for them to play in the tub! :P

I HAVE FINALLY WON!

“It has been a boring Valentine’s Day with no dates, no good animal shows and having to stay at home with a bottle of alcoholic fruit drink in my hand... errr... paws,” said Jonathan. At least I still get some glamor out of it… haha :P

CONTEST05

Thanks Deana and her cute gang for awarding Jonathan for the Funniest Valentine Photo in the 2008 Toonces and Rollie Valentine Contest based on cuteness, sweetness, personality and fun. It is an honor to be selected amongst the dozens of photos submitted. Even Jonathan would like to send his warmest thanks to you guys.

JONTQ

The triplets Janice, Jayson and Justin on the other hand were also surprised to find out that their Papa emerged as a winner. There are still too young to be in this limelight yet at only 40 days old. Who knows, they might outshined their Papa in the future?

DISBELIEF

Jessica also felt surprised as she was too busy taking care of what was left behind by the earlier actions of her so called hubby Jonathan aka Romeo aka Casanova who are still having late nights partying daily.

EXPRESSION

Bubble was walking up and down grumbling that I did not submit his photos for the contest. Oops…it was my mistake to overlook! Sorry Bubble…next time dear! :P

WE ARE ONE MONTH OLD

THIS BLOG HAS BEEN TAKEN OVER
BY US TRIPLETS
HAHA!

ONEMONTH

Daddy has been busy helping his family for the coming Chinese New Year preparations and we were left alone with a sick Mama and a Romeo Papa who is never around to take care of us. In fact, we are angry that Daddy did not even celebrate our “Full Moon” with us. He was to buy lots of “Full Moon Gift Packs” to give away and collect lots of “Ang Pow” (red packets with $$) for us.

FULLMOON

But we only got a small tiny packet of Kitten Friskies. We are not complaining much as our first taste of solid food was good. Janice, “Hey, Mama’s Friskies tasted even better. I can’t wait to grow up!”

FRISKIES

“Mama! Mama! How are you feeling today?” purred Jayson. I hope you can stop vomiting again and get well real soon. We love you Mama. No matter how sick you are, we still get our regular shots of yummy juicy milk. You are the best!

MAMALOVE

Now where is that Romeo Papa? Where is he when Mama needed him most? He must have escaped out of the house again. See! Useless Papa! We have to scold him then only he will come back with that guilty look on his face. Grrrrrr…

ROMEOPAPA

Click… click… click! (Justin clicking on the Digicam directory) “Gosh! Is that what Daddy has been doing while we were asleep? He camwhored us!” Haha… but we do look real cute in our triplets’ natural reactions! :P

REACTIONS

No matter what, we love Daddy a lot! You can see how plump Papa and Mama have grown up to be. You can see how happy and comfortable we are too. In fact, Daddy has taught us well. Who said only monkeys are wise? We are wise too! Daddy has taught us not to see evil, hear evil and speak evil! :P

NOEVIL

WE LOVE YOU DADDY!
HAPPY “FULL MOON” TO US!
LOTS OF LOVE,
JUSTIN, JANICE & JAYSON

CATS ON TUESDAY – ALL IN THE FAMILY

CATSTUESDAYLOGO144

The past few days have been quite handicap for me with my internet service getting frequent network problems resulting in lesser blog posts and the mood to blog even more. Luckily I have my “J” family members to make my days brighter. In fact, I have spent much quality time with them, busy shooting away all their cute moments. Here is Jayson whispering into his Dad, Jon’s ears to get a family photo taken.

FAMILY01

“Mummy… Justin… Janice… come take family photo,” shouted Jayson.

FAMILY02

“Shhhh… Mummy and Daddy are having their romantic moments holding hands together.”
“Let us don’t disturb and take Mummy’s delicious milk instead,” remarked Jayson.
Criz: “Oops…it means I can’t disturb them as well. Let’s accept this as a family photo..haha”

CATS ON TUESDAY – FAMILY PHOTO

CATSTUESDAYLOGO144

JFAMILYPHOTO

Papa Jonathan: 21 March 2007
Mama Jessica: 21 March 2007
Baby Janice: 3 January 2008 (2.37am)
Baby Jayson: 3 January 2008 (3.24am)
Baby Justin: 3 January 2008 (4.11am)

I could hardly imagine since the first time I have posted up on the birth of the kittens,
the triplets have grown up real fast in less than 20 days.
In fact, they have been walking clumsily all over the place exploring every corner of the room.
Jess has been really over protective of her kittens, “biting” them back into the kitten’s tray each time they ran out.
I guessed she will have a hard time chasing after the kittens when they can run around the house in the next couple of days.
Jon on the other hand is still having the post-birth “being father” phobia.
On and off he will pop in the kittens’ house to have a peep at them,
but will run away for his life each time one of the kittens tried to climb over him or come near him.
I did not post this up before but maybe you would like to have a look at the birth of Jayson, after Janice has been born almost an hour apart earlier.

Now you will understand how hard it is to get them together for a family photo but I did it (with many spoilt shots of course ~~~sweat~~)!
I will be posting up the growing up process of the triplets from time to time.
Do keep a watch out for updates.

PHOTO HUNTERS: IMPORTANT

photohunters

This week’s theme is on IMPORTANT.
Last week, I posted up a skinny stray mother cat which has given birth to 3 kittens.
This week, it will be on my cat Jessica which has also given birth to 3 kittens.
Who could be more IMPORTANT in our life other than our MOTHER?
The same case goes for Justin who is only 15 days old.
To him, his MOTHER is the most IMPORTANT entity in his life.
He understood the importance and the unconditional love of his mother
towards him and his other siblings, Janice and Jayson too.
No matter how hard and painfully it is for a mother to bring us into this world,
she will never forgo her duties to ensure that we are loved and cared for.
If you have not spend quality time with your mother for some time now,
go ahead and give her a call or be with her right now.
This is the best way to show her how IMPORTANT she is in our life.

WATCH YOUR PUSSIES

CHEEKYCATS

Having pets at home are fun. There can be adorable and filled with love and gratitude. Sometimes, their way of showing their gratitude can be rather out of this world and shocking too. I have been sheltering two pussy cats, Jon and Jess at home for the past 8 months. They are a loving couple with lots of “cat”whoring skills.

They are truly being pampered to the extreme with food of the finest quality. In fact, they will eat just anything from cakes, ice cream, and bread to dog food. I was wondering if they were incarnated from dogs at times. On and off, I will get surprise gifts from them such as those shown below.

INSECTS3

Just today, Jess gave me something out of the usual insect kingdom species. This is the first time that I manage to save the “victim” from being mauled to death. I ended up having an additional pet at home which required nursing to health before I can release it back to nature. Cats are cats. They are good stalkers just for the fun of it. I just hope they will not bring back “Mickey Mouse” as Christmas gift this time.

BIRDIE

I just hope my new pet sparrow “Jay” will recover fast. I hate to keep birds in cages when they should be flying as freely in the sky. What else can I do? I cannot spank a pregnant cat which is playful. I just wished that her offspring would not be as cheeky as the parents. But knowing cats’ characteristics, I doubt it! I will have to be more cautious next time to avoid posing danger to another life.

Update: Unfortunately Jay could not stand the after-shock and died this morning. It is not even 12 hours yet. So sad ...

PHOTO HUNTERS: FLEXIBLE

photohunters

This week’s theme is on FLEXIBLE.
I am going to show you how FLEXIBLE my cat Jon can be.
I was wondering whether it is fate or just my sheer luck
to have Jon come into my life as such a FLEXIBLE actor.
Below are some of his FLEXIBLE expressions and actions
that made my life brighter with smiles always.
