PANDA HERE PANDA THERE PANDA EVERYWHERE

I AM A BLUE PANDA HOLDER! I HAVE SHOUTED 5000 TIMES!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Ever since joining ShoutOut on 25 June 2007, I have been shouting until I lost my voice. That was just an excuse but it can be quite addictive too. Haha! Well, I would say ShoutOut is the best creation ever in the blogosphere. Not only did ShoutOut create LIVE chats amongst the bloggers, it also created a big, cool, and happy family for all those bloggers out there. There is always the caring and sharing within the family members.

Originated from Penang for Malaysian bloggers, ShoutOut has steadily expanded to many states as well as countries. We now also have shouters as far as Singapore and Holland. I would to take this opportunity to thank Lasker and Elise, the masterminds behind this wonderful creation and also to those shouters members who had made me feel very comfortable with their companionships throughout this short duration. You guys ROCK!

Here are the PANDA WALK OF FAME recipients:

First Panda Holder – Chee Hsien
Quiet in nature but once you get him a camera and an internet connection, he can be a hyperactive guy busy camwhoring and shouting, even in his sleep. .

Second Panda Holder – Angeline Tan
She is a cool and happy-go-lucky girl. She can shout so loud that everyone will just stop there and then to listen to what she has to say. She is now based in KL for further studies and we all do hope that she will get her internet connection up in no time to continue shouting. We all miss you Angeline.

Third Panda Holder – Adelene Tan
This one is really Beep Beep the Roadrunner. She can shout so much that we hardly realized that she had moved so far up in the ranking. I always call her a BRAT not because she is such a rascal. BRAT as in Beautiful, Romantic And Talented.

Fourth Panda Holder – Minny
This is the hottest and sexiest mummy of ShoutOut. She loved camwhoring just anywhere, even in the female toilet. I just wondered why ladies like to take so many photos in the toilet. Haha! She is also a naturally born Shopaholic. If you want to know where can get good stuff and offers, she is the MAN (in a woman’s body…haha!)

Fifth Panda Holder - BenjiPapa
A bachelor still even though he has the nickname of BenjiPapa, can be such a joker at times. He looked quiet too in person but can be a loud shouter when he is in ShoutOut. He is a handsome guy and you girls out there who would want a good boyfriend, he is the best candidate. Move fast now before you end up getting only his underwear left. Haha!

Sixth Panda Holder – Criz Lai
Well, I have not much to say about myself except that I am a real panda in life. I hardly sleep with a hectic work lifestyle. See me and you will see the two big black panda rings I have on my eyes. I am wild but huggable and most of the time, you will end up the trees or stuck to the wall with the joke I tell.

AN INSIGHT ON THE I-FACTOR

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

First of all, let me brief you on the meaning of “I”. “I” is the 9th alphabet of the English alphabets A-Z. Scientifically, “I” symbolizes Iodine, which is used in pharmaceuticals, antiseptics, medicine, food supplements, dyes, catalysts, halogen lights, photography and water purifying. In a layman’s language, it means you and me. “I” usually has two different faces – the Angel and the Devil, meaning the True Self and the False Self. Let us discuss the I-Factor in a humorous way.

Ah Beng: Hey! This Criz’s Sanctuary is a good blog. I think I should give the author some good comments in here. ***trying to type in something but his head is blank with confusions whether to write or not to write***

Angel: Yea…you should give him what you have in your mind. Say how good he is to come out with such a good post. Give him some good compliments and support. That’s the best way to get a blogger motivated.

Devil: Want or not? All I see is some crap talk here. You think he’s so good meh? I’m better lar. In fact, I’m the best in this blogosphere.

Angel: How can you say you’re the best when I’m the “God” here? “God” rules! You go sit on your hot stove and stop confusing my poor Ah Beng here!

Devil: Why not? I have been in the blogosphere for so long. Old bird liao. Who don’t know who I’m leh? What I say is definitely the truth even though I’m such a devil all the time.

Angel: Hey, why are you so self centered? Have you ever thought of how I have helped Ah Beng to become so successful today? He won’t be who he is without me around.

Devil: WTF! Do you think you are the only one who has helped him? If I did not stop him from commenting in so many posts, do you think he has the time and concentration to come up with good posts?

Angel: Gosh! Is that all you have in your thick skull? If I did not get him to work so hard in commenting in others’ blogs, do you think he will get such good traffics now? You think getting traffics into his blog is so easy without exploring other’s blog and give a nice and meaningful comment?

Devil: That is what you say nia. As if people will appreciate his comments. It is just a waste of time. I do not know how you can be qualified to be an Angel with such low mentality. Not like me at all. I believed in what I say is always the best solution. I rocks! You go sit in your nest and stop mumbling like an old grandmother!

Angel: OMG! With that superiority complex and pride of yours, you will get yourself into deep trouble one of these days. Your throne will be too hot for you to sit on too! Humph!

Ah Beng: Wow…look at that cool feature in his blog – ShoutOut. Can shout until you drop leh. I want to add that in my blog.

Angel: Hey Ah Beng. You got time to shout meh? I thought you wanted to blog blog blog until you drop? Like this how to earn money wor? The more you write the more you earn mar. Set your priority right lar.

Devil: Relax Mr. Ring Head! Let me check it out first. ***keying into the shout box*** ”Hi Lasker, Elise, Criz Lai, Angeline, Adelene, Angelina, GummyBoy, Chee Hsien. aL, vingie, Stephanie, BenjiPapa, Papajoneh, JJ, Minny, ChristinaYY, Dragon Head, michie, Kah Peng, PC, Sukidayo, Baby D, Baby Fiona, Conan Cat, Ree Nee, Cedric, Kucing Mafia, Gillian, Princess Wendy, Nicholas Chan, Satkuru, ChefKhuen, LogicYuan. Calvyn, HaoHao, Eddy, Jaecy Wong, SC Bone, G-Devil, K.Kim, RYU, Colleen, Michelle, Jared, Sumilo, Wai Chee, Des, Daniel, Jeff, Shea Speare, Erlynda, Emily, Saewei, Dex……etc.” Wah…so big ShoutOut family. Very syiok leh. Angel…do not disturb me. You go sleep now! Haha. ***continue to chat nonstop***

Angel: @_@... selfish Devil!

Ah Beng: Whoa…the Malaysian bloggers are having a grand gathering organized by Nuffnang at ABC Restaurant this month end! Blogblog Taiko will be making a guest appearance.

Angel: Let’s go and get acquainted with those experienced blogger. We can also rub shoulders with Blogblog Taiko and mingle with lots of “leng zai”s and ‘leng lui”s there. Who knows? Ah Beng will not be so lonely after all.

Devil: Ceh…go there do what? That place’s food sucks. The air-conditioning is like hot-conditioning. Ah Beng sure suffocate with so many people there. Blogblog Taiko “tai sai” meh? Who cares who he is? I also Taiko mar!

Angel: ***fainted*** No comment!

SHOUT UNTIL YOU DROP

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Instant Messengers (IMs) have become part and parcel of our lives ever since the birth of the much-loved ICQ (I Seek You) program in 1996. It allowed people to communicate in a very direct manner without going through the hassle of waiting for responses from emails. Following the success of ICQ, came Window Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger (Beta) and AOL's AIM. Even the almost 2 decade’s old Internet Relay Chat (IRC) still remains popular amongst chatters worldwide.

There remains a problem with these IMs as friends and family members often connected to different networks. To install all the chatting programs is a tedious job and will eventually drain the limited resources of the computer. Thus, a program has been specially created for the Malaysians inbound as well as outbound to minimize their headaches on the problem.

Welcome Malaysia’s first ever creation, ShoutOut - Malaysian Bloggers United. This project is the brainchild of two young Malaysians from Penang, Lasker and Elise. Having launched in April 2006, ShoutOut presently has over 62,000 shouts with an average of 140 shouts per day and it is gaining momentum real fast. Its shouters consist of some Malaysians staying abroad too.

WHY IS SHOUTOUT SO UNIQUE?

  1. It is LIVE.
  2. User friendly and hassle free installation.
  3. Can be easily customized to suit your likings.
  4. Generated HTML coding can be placed anywhere in any blogs or websites of your choice.
  5. Gathers all Malaysian bloggers under one roof.
  6. Cute Butterfly and Panda icon for both male and female shouters when you reach certain shout level or rank.
  7. Easy to upload photograph with captions and show it LIVE.
  8. Everyone who has installed the program will see the chat LIVE in their site as well as in other sites which has this program. So you can chat while you blog hop.
  9. Get you connected to all the local and overseas Malaysians.
  10. Nice Smileys can be added into conversation.
  11. Easy track back of chats through the History folder based on time periods and dates.
  12. Fun facts about the shouters’ statistics
  13. News of what’s happening within the shouter members.
  14. News on what’s going on in Malaysia in What’s Next.
  15. Ability to still continue chatting when other IMs are down.

Presently, ShoutOut is still relying on word of mouth advertising and recommendation by its members. ShoutOut is a Non-Earning Website and joining is FREE. ShoutOut has future plans looking for advertisers. Why not join ShoutOut today and be part of the big family?
