LOVE, PEACE AND HAPPINESS WITHIN THE BLOGOSPHERE

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Since joining the blogosphere, I had encountered many incidences that made me ponder what has happened to the peacefulness of this so-called big happy family. Not only did I see the vast changes in the mentality and characteristics of some bloggers, I also saw the ugly sides of some so-called reputed peaceful bloggers. The Love-Hate and Hate-Love of these bloggers had made me wonder if there are any solutions to a better and more peaceful blogosphere. Sitting down and analyzing the situations for many sleepless nights, I came out with these ten point guides which I do hope will help ease the ill-feelings and hatred within the community. Here are the ten point guides:

PUT A STOP TO WHATEVER THAT STARTED
Losing your temper will make you more agitated and mindless in handling a situation. Having a clear and peaceful stage of mind will eventually solve the situation without prolonging it further. It is never too late to say “I am sorry”.

STUDY WITHIN THYSELF
Pointing your finger at others will not make you a better person as the other four fingers are still pointed at yourself. Do not blame and accuse a person without studying deeply within yourself the main cause of the problem. Who is at fault? The person or you?

ARGUMENTS LEAD TO DISASTER
Winning the friendship of the others is far greater than winning an argument. Accept constructive criticism with an open mind and learn from them. Arguing would not make matters any better.

NO ONE IS PERFECT
Everybody is learning up new things daily, thus it will take time before anybody can be perfect in what they are doing. If you do not intend to guide the person willingly, just accept them as who they are and not who they should be.

LISTEN WITH YOUR OPEN MIND AND HEART
Let the other party explain what he/she has to say before condemning and sentencing him/her for his wrongdoings. Think analytically before speaking out abusively.

UNCONDITIONAL FORGIVENESS
Most people tend to forgive but the grudges still remain within them. The term “to forgive and to forget” should be applied here. Hatred will never end unless complete and unconditional forgiveness are given.

HUMILITY IS THE MOTHER OF PEACEFULNESS
There is no harm in being humble and down to earth. Egoistic actions will bring about arrogance which will widen the gaps within two or more people.

BE APPRECIATIVE
The biggest fear of humanity is not being appreciated by the surrounding so-called community members. Everyone would want to be appreciated publicly. Criticisms are to be settled privately behind the walls when opportunity arises. Never criticize a person publicly.

STRENGTHEN YOUR FUNNY BONES
Learn to laugh happily with any love or hate comments you received. Different people have different thoughts on any situations. There is no point in getting angry over something that is beyond your control. Laughing out would be a great remedy towards a more healthy living. Remember this. You can laugh WITH others but not AT them.

SHARING WILL NEVER BE A LOSS
When you have gain so much knowledge and experiences to be a successful blogger in the blogosphere, there is no harm in transmitting some of what you have gained towards those struggling bloggers. After all, sharing will let you earn the trust, respect and friendship of others. Keeping all that to oneself will not help the blogosphere to become a better place to be in.

Well, did all that was mentioned above help you be aware to the frequent happenings within the blogosphere? Have you got anything that you would like to add to the list above to make this blogosphere a better place to be in? Share your thoughts openly as it may help those people “living” within the blogosphere.

Ehh~ I'm positive to all your points. I cannot think of anything else to add in here, maybe my brain's not really that good in late-night thinking. Especially since I'm rather sleepy (for the first time).

I think that Unconditional Forgiveness is the hardest. I, too, sometimes find it difficult to totally forgive someone, but will still tell that person I don't hold any grudge at all.

Ah~ Back to my anime!

Bravo! Criz, you've done it again. I whole-heartedly agree to everything you said here. It's ashame that blogging bring out the worst in some at times.

Criz indeed you did it again. I have no more to add. This ten should cover every aspect of proper "behaviour" in the bloghosphere.
I like most the "no one's perfect", "Be appreciative" and the last one, "sharing will never be a loss".
thanks for such a good write up.

so is this the new 10 commandments for peaceful blogging?

having read all that, we must still go back to the original blogging spirit....

1) the blog is yours
2) the freedom of speech

yes, we must also treat each other with respect but i feel if we control ourselves too much in blogging, i think blogs will lose the beauty of it. ok... maybe i have digressed here.

anyway, as for the ugly sides of reputed peaceful bloggers... i am sure we all have our horns hidden somewhere... dont u think?

Hi, I think I am a bit outdated here..;D

I mean I am not aware of fighting or quarrel around.Maybe I am too busy writing paid posts.

If I were to get an unfriendly comment,I will just say "Thank you for your comment".It's not worth wasting time fighting back.Instead, write a few more paid posts...;D

cc: you be surprised at some of their action too. Even the innocent like me get abused.

papajoneh: well. i won't argue with you on that...to me everything are as important.

zewt: maybe and maybe not. It's how people judge another by his/her cover that made matter worst.

wuching: fake or no fake, i am not faking and i have been the victim of indirect abuse too.

vedis: hi...welcome back. You are right. God saved those who save themselves. Time should be used for things which are more beneficial to our progress.

horny ang moh: yea...but with constructive criticism.
